This is how I see it, although I favour Thurman. Would be a compelling fight.I favour Spence..... but Thurman has a good gas tank, he's showed he can fight at a furious pace for 12 rounds which he'll undoubtedly need to do against Spence.
The key is the body work, Thurman needs to negate that..... but how?
My guess is he's got to land something big early to hurt Spence and take his confidence away early, if he can hurt him early then maybe Spence doesn't get going until the mid rounds at which point Thurman can win those early rounds and doesn't slow down as drastically as Brook did.
For Spence?? ..... well he needs to do what he's done thus far, box behind the jab to get in close. Work the body and close the show late on when Thurman runs on empty.
My guess is Spence has a better chance off pulling off his game plan than Thurman so I'd probably pick him to win by close UD or very late stoppage.
Amazing fight when it goes down, probably better than the one we saw this weekend.Comment

Spence is a terrible match up for Thurman. Too big and strong for him if he stands his ground will take concussion shots and if he becomes run time Spence will chase him and break him in half to the body. Thurman has already shown to be weak to the body getting hurt bad from body shots from guys like Collazo. Imagine what Spence a more vicious body puncher will do.Comment

I really dislike how people say "Collazo hurt Keith to the body imagine what so and so will do."
Posters here have said that for literally ever single fight Thurman has had since then. Anyone can be hurt by the right body shot, and Collazo landed the right body shot in that fight. Spence's body work is a factor because it's a factor against anyone, not because Collazo exposed some huge weakness Thurman has.
If it was such a weakness, someone else would have doubled Thurman over by now.Comment

Thurman deserves to be ranked higher right now because he has the far better resume. That said, I think Spence has the attributes to deal with Thurman's boxing ability and would beat Thurman. He 's got the strength and size of Porter with significantly more skills.Comment

IDK man, every1 is high on Spence right now but fact of the matter is styles make fights and Brook did very well punching first even when his back was against the ropes. As of late Thurman has been fighting that way himself. I can see Thurman winning a stick and move type unanimous decision.Comment
