You obviously beat GGG with counterpunching.

There are 2 ways, outlanding GGG with those counterpunches or stopping him.

The thing is Nelo will land his counter then won't move, and will be there to get hit.

So unless those counters wobbles GGG and makes of the Kazakh a good boy, Nelo is in there for a long night, because Nelo won't like getting chased non stop and GGG is no slouch.

GGG won a close decision vs Jacobs but still outlanded a longer skilled fighter.
Dude is no slouch, that's why the Jacobs fight should tell us.

Unlike Jacobs, Nelo is the shorter guy, Nelo is even shorter than Brook.
All of that is possible but there's also the possibility of Canelo beating GGG to the punch with superior hand speed. If Canelo can consistently do that, he can beat Golovkin because Golovkin is there to be hit.

        • Jacobs would destroy a drained 164 pound Chavez Jr.

Canelo & GGG last 2 fights arent even comparable

Pull yourself together and work on your reading comprehension skills. At no point did I even make a fight prediction.
The facts remain that Golovkin is flat-footed and has not shown the ability to fight going backwards. The same critiques you use for Canelo can be applied to Golovkin.
Cotto is a world champion, Hall of Fame boxer that Canelo outboxed. However that was not the same Cotto that Pacquiao beat at 145 in 2009 but you can make that comparison if you want to.

Canelo has steadily improved since the loss to Mayweather and he has done it against a number of boxers with completely different styles and strengths. That's the best way to groom a young boxer. Experience is immeasurable.

No it can't because its proven golovkin is a world class puncher at middleweight who has knocked out 33 of his 37 middlweight opponents who unlike canelo has not knocked out anybody at middlweight and was pushed back on numerous occasions by liam smith ....so no golovkin will not need to fight going backwards and your a deluded fool if you think canelo will be able to force golovkin on the retreat and going backwards lol....get a grip mongo....the bottom line is canelo needs to have footwork and fight going backwards unlike golovkin who will be in canelos face every second of every round ...another mug i see has popped up

Are you f@ckin ****** or what lol....i said up to 10 rounds and that means even if they stop the fight at 2:50 seconds of the 10th round i win...once the bells rings to end round 10 and he makes it out for the 11th then you win the bet...10 rounds is the whole ten rounds gumbo lol

Canelo doesn't need to KO GGG or any other middleweight in order to produce enough power to make GGG fight moving backwards. Fact remains that GGG is as flat-footed, if not more, as Canelo and has yet to prove that he can fight moving backwards. We also haven't seen Canelo fight at a full 160 but all these questions will be answered in September.
I bet you thought Golovkin was going to KO Jacobs too.

It would be close to even if the fight took place at jr middleweight. But as it stands right now GGG has most of the advantages over Canelo. The only way Canelo wins is by stopping Ggg and I don't see that happening. Plus Ggg can win by UD and by stoppage. I think it will be entertaining while it lasts but the odds are stacked against a Canelo win. Besides hyping the fight there is a reason why this fight didn't happen sooner, Canelo's handlers didn't think he was ready.
Canelo is only 26 yrs old so there was no reason to rush him into a Golovkin fight. Time is/was on Canelo's side.

In my opinion, Canelo has the advantage in hand speed. I also believe Canelo is the sharper puncher of the two and his combo's are better. Golovkin is heavier handed and has a superior jab.
