Keith has a high boxing IQ...he needs to add a clinch to his game if he wants to beat Spence though. Spence throws short shots too good to let him get off inside. And he'll need the rest too cause Errol brings it!

brook was clearly looking to take spence into the later rounds thinking he'd tire him out and finish strong...thurman would have probably had the same gameplan had they fought last saturday, but he knows better now
I feel thurman might be too experienced for spence and it'll show. he's got the best resume in and around 147 right now, not counting pacquiao who actually hasn't fought anyone since he rematched bradley

Keith is too small for Errol. I keep reading, "Keith is too much", but I'm trying to figure out why? Is that based on experience? If so that's just silly. That might matter for a young guy who's trying to box to a decision, but that's not Errol. He's bringing that action and trying to take you out McCallum style.
Keith is too small at 5'7 to give Errol any real problems. Furthermore Thurman has no power to worry of at the elite level, has no clinch game to impose on Spence/ to slow down the assault, and absolutely despises getting body work.
Any objective boxing fan can see Spence is a nightmare for Thurman. He'd be gone in 8 or 9. His feet might buy him 10. Kell Brook was big enough to push Spence around and buy some time. None of these other guys can do that.
Garcia would be a punching bag against Errol, it's not even worth discussing. .
Porter would cause some issues with his wild headbutts and attack, but I'm still waiting for Porter to catch a top level fighter with clean shots. Ultimately his 5'6 frame is too small and his aggression would work against him (unless he caused a cut), with little effective punching. He'd get stopped too.
Crawford is the best bet against Spence, and may not be strong enough to deal with the pressure.
BTW is it me or does Keith fight like a young Sharmba Mitchell at the elite level? That one time **** is long gone.Last edited by Butch.McRae; 05-29-2017, 05:29 AM.

Look. fact is Brook as well as Spence were participating in a dangerous contact sport where they were paid millions to give fans elite league performances. Brook has now quit twice because he took damage. He needs to retire. He is clearly too "fragile" to be fighting on the championship level and his mental make-up is such that he quits the minute he takes damage in a sport that is designed to cause damage on your opponent. He's made millions now he needs to go and enjoy his money and let those atheletes who want to partisipate a chance to perform. He'll never be known as a Gatti or Ward type fighter that's for sure. Moving up would just mean he'd be fighting bigger fighters so please, retire and take up something safer like golf or competitive walking
