i think its quite ****** that the ring bases this hardest puncher rating on ONE fight.Originally posted by machotimeYeah but he had a fight 5 weeks prior and it was an easy fight, he was in shape and ready to fight, and it was not 2 weeks, he knew about the possibility 4 weeks prior, but it was officially announced 2 weeks prior.
Either way he is a very exciting fighter, that Ring magazine labeled as the hardest puncher at 140. I would like to see him fight Lazcano....that would be a great fightComment

Agreed Mystyal2k5, this fight is one of the reasons why Cotto is my favourite fighter today. takes the vicious shots numerous occasions, really looks like he's out of there, then KOs his man. what boxing is all about.Originally posted by mystyal2k5for cotto to stand after that was amazing to me. jus disappointed the torres couldnt finish it off
Would be torn between him and Hatton if they ever thought - you know, patriotism and all!Comment

I was at the fight also... Damn these Colombians pack some serious power. The video is obviously all highlights for Torres. Cotto rocked Torres just as much and finally stopped him when Torres just ran out of gas. Great fight for both guys. I know it won't happen but I would love to see a rematch.Comment

Torres will always be beaten by that upper echelon, but if you're 2-4, he'll send your ass back to the drive thruComment

this was one of my favorite fights ever. two undefeated KO artists in their primes going at it in a FOTY candidate.
