Ricardo Torres is a tough MOFU

See how many times he hurt Cotto, and he only took the fight in 2 weeks notice. the guy is a warrior

Should that have been considered a knockdown?

Yeah but he had a fight 5 weeks prior and it was an easy fight, he was in shape and ready to fight, and it was not 2 weeks, he knew about the possibility 4 weeks prior, but it was officially announced 2 weeks prior.

Either way he is a very exciting fighter, that Ring magazine labeled as the hardest puncher at 140. I would like to see him fight Lazcano....that would be a great fight

How come he hasn't fought since? I think he was scheduled to fight in December, did he get injured or something?

I think we also gotta give cotto some credit here, Cotto got hit with everyting INCLUDING the kitchen sink.

I dont think even if torres would have had more time to prepare he would have won, he had Cotto in trouble enough he just didnt have enough to finish it.

Yeah lets give ****ing Cotto some credit here. Kid was a dynamic, HARD puncher who hit Miguel with just about every power punch in the book. Many of them came in combination too.

Cotto took all of that assault on his feet like a man and came back and knocked the kid into next week with savage assaults to the body and head. That last combination was ******.

To sum up, Cotto is the man. To credit the thread...yes, Torres is a tough mofo.
