I really think it wasn't GGG or even the weight loss. Rewatch the fight. From the very first round Spence badly hurts Brook to the body. Brook immediately starts to protect his body, exposing his face more and giving Spence more options.

Look at their faces, from the first round Spence is smiling, and Brook looks worried. There are very very few times Spence's smile goes away. You can tell Spence knows when his shots are hurting people, and he gets this smile on his face.

Don't think it was the weight drop at all. Spence just beat him down. Just look at how sometimes Brook would just jump his lower body back sometimes when Spence would look like he would drop a shot down there. After a while, his body and face had enough. Both were broken down and Spence was beating on both.

Body shots that are fast, are often ignored, because one doesn't really know how hard those shots are. Spences body shots are very fast, but they are really digging in and trying to go through the opponent.

      Good observations.

Spence's body work is done with fast punches that go out and retract in the blink of an eye. They can be easy to overlook but he is throwing them hard and doing damage the whole time.

Thank you!!! Like I said over the last few days, Brook got destroyed to the body! He was getting destroyed from the first round. Spence invest time into it and it was a thing of beauty to watch boxers that go to the body.

You can tell that Brook was hurting from the first round, he took the knee and got counted out not because of the eye but because his body was done.

Spence has way more potential than any other young american champ or prospect, he can become the next ppv star in no time because of his fan friendly style,& unlike tank,he has the size to move up to jmw later for certain $ fights. If he doesn't turn into mayweather 2.0 like tank then theres no limit to his future,I just hope he doesn't become another arrogant idiot, confidence is good though just like cokiness sells fights, but I hate when fighters turn into unproven loudmouths.

Brook QUIT gave up. Bellew got smashed KO'd violently by Adonis

Kell QUIT it happens. The Brits gave up QUIT at Dunkirk all of them. It Happens. But gizzard neck wimp Bellew got humiliated by Adonis Stevenson and pulverized blown away quickly in shame. Brits know QUIT it's in the DNA.

Of course he quit. He's a millionaire. Why would he take any more damage?

GGG started turning it up in rd4 and he got pulled out in 5. He's no broken fighter. In my opinion, the version of him yesterday probably beats every other ww.

A lot of guys would have gotten frustrated and let that fight slip away.

                  Like Shawn Porter.
