Is Groves a P4P fighter?

I say he has proved to be in the top 20 p4p right now. He has improved a lot since his loses and showed he should be rated 1 at 165.

He's underrated because of how vulnerable he looks. He always looks like he is one punch away from being out flat on his back.

He's a good fighter for sure. I think he's been underrated down the years. He's only lost to top fighters in Froch and Jack. He was competitive in them too.

This is a worn torn version of Groves also, he's done well to rebound from his loses. He's got another big fight on the horizon again now.

Wins over Degale, Chudinov, Gutnecht, Murray, Smith etc. his only defeats were really competitive bouts with Jack and Froch.


I look at a guy like Golovkin's resume, and don't see anybody Groves couldn't beat. Jacobs isn't nearly as good as either Froch or Jack and he arguably won. I couldn't imagine 147lb Brook out boxing him either.

Who did Golovkin beat when he first entered the P4P list? He was high as #3 when his best win was Murray.
