And beside Spence who is a legit big welterweight, and Brook who is shot, you have:

Pacquiao, Porter, Bradley, Broner, Thurman, Garcia. Theses are all small welterweights or jr welterweight going to welterweight to avoid weight cutting. Welterweight seems like a division for overblown jr welterweights imo.

Idongo, Postol and Crawford, the top 3 at 140 are all bigger than all theses top welterweight super ultimate athletes.
Get the hell out of here with that ****.

Why the sudden infatuation with Spence? When Crawford been clowning dudes for 2+ years and never has even had a close fight go late rounds before pulling it out.

Is it the HBO thing or the Arum thing? I don't get it....
I agree that Bud is the better fighter. We need to see Crawford at 147 before we make predictions on who wins between him and Spence. As of now, I feel like Spence is too big for Crawford.

spence was in a tough fight until a freak injury happened to Brook and he had to quit. I didn't think he was that impressive through the first 6-7 rounds at all. He's a good fighter obviously but I think people are getting carried away.

And WW is not even that good a division. Garcia can't beat any of the top 3-4... Porter can't beat the top 3 and Brook seems to be done with these eye injuries. Spence and Thurman are the whole division.
Why does the liking of Spence over Crawford have to be about hbo or arum? Why do posters like you always make the choices people have come down to the silliest of reasons,

You and the idiots with your mentality have posted that the reasons people like Spence are his connection to haymon, his connection to Floyd and now it's that he doesn't fight on hbo. why can't people like Spence because he's a great young fighter?

Why the passive aggressive coded language linkage?

WW is the home division of SRR, SRL, Hearns, ODLH, and May. I'd say it's the most glamorous division after HW. Always has been. 140 is like CW for HW, a feeder..

I agree. Crawford is the best American fighter since Floyd Mayweather. Even better than Ward. The guy is just phenomenal after the first few rounds. He rarely loses a round after the 3rd. I really hope he doesn't waste away under Top Rank because I don't think Roach will let Manny fight him.

I agree because he is from Texas too. Texas is already way behind him. I know Crawford has a huge Nebraska following too, but...It's not Texas. I think Spence is going to fight in Dallas his next fight and he will probably sell out the Mavericks arena.

Ward is the better fighter by far

140 is always the bridge to 147 but come on man.

                  Cruiserweight?

Least glamorous division aside from maybe super flyweight.

Diaz is actually great to bring up in this instance.

                    Yes, Bud dominated him.

But he never came close to dropping the former Olympian.

Diaz is not a big guy.

If Bud can't hurt him enough to put him down, how is he going to hurt Spence?

The same Spence that just walked thru the punches of one of the heaviest handed guys a weight-class higher?

If you can't make Errol respect you, he will walk in and do whatever he wants, especially to the body.

Not a good thing for Bud.

Even if Brook wouldn't of quit Spence was pressuring the hell out of him. He had a harder pop than Brook. He's got long arms and hits hard enough to make anyone have to adjust to him. He beat a very good fighter. I like Crawford too. Hell of a fighter. Just hope he doesn't force himself up too fast. Remember what happened to Chocolatito. You SHOULDNT leave YOUR BODIES intended weight class. There is a limit. Though most on here think otherwise.
