TONY BELLEW: "Malignaggi fought on, Kell quit"

I must say Tony makes a great point about Paulie's fight against Cotto tbh. He says it HERE. Do we agree with him? Or is he not in a position to talk after he folded against Superman and looked like he didn't want anymore too?

Never have there been truer words spoken before, respect to Bellew telling it like it is. The UK have there very own version of Victor Ortiz now.

He's not wrong. Its a harsh stance, but its a harsh stance in a harsh f#cking business.

But I think everyone gots quit in them. Its just do you or your opponent got the most quit + the dynamic of how much nice stuff & comfort in your life can you acquire that reduces your quit level til its lower then your opponents quit level comes into play to & life has been really good for Brook lately.

You gotta get wayyyyy up there to hit Floyd's & Manny's quit levels based on how much they achieved with how much they made in boxing, but most cats quit level drops dramatically once they start getting those 6, 7 & sometimes if their lucky those 8 digit paydays or better like few ever reach.

And thats not even to downplay Brook in anyway, I think its some extremely human sh^t on a super basic level that the more sh^t you get & the more you can lose the less risk you take. Thats a natural & smart strategy. Its just not great for boxing, but life extends a whole lot further out then just the boxing world.

i hate bellew , but hes a great analyst , called a quitter a quitter , brook looked soft against carson jones , i give him the benefit of the doubt against ggg , but had it not been for the golovkin fight every man and his dog would of called him a quitter , on the flip side i cant think of any fighter in history having back to back broken eye sockets , eddie hearn promoting at its finest . . . brook could be unbeaten 147 champ , went to 154 beat liam smith 2 weight world champ unbeaten with the world at his feet , frank warren may be a dinosaur but he looks after his fighters in the ring

I don't mind so much hearing another fighter with this opinion. Keyboard warriors going in on him is abit hard to stomach. These are people who cry when their Internet goes down.

This is one of those scenarios where a boxer who has form can say this kind of stuff.

Bellew has been stopped once on his feet and he was away with the fairies.

But he's suffered heavy knockdowns such as the one against Ovil McKenzie, Makubu, and gone for it.

When Bellew says Kell will be kicking himself I reckon he might be right but absolutely nobody else in Kell's family or inner circle will feel the same way. For me he was incapacitated and even tried his last hurrah in round 10.

Bellew has would likely live up to his own words. But that's not a normal thing. It's extraordinary.

If it was another injury I would agree but you don't mess with your eyesight. He's going to risk blindness and never being able to see his friends and family? Plus, who knows what the doctors told him.

Kell took quite a beating before he quit, I wasn't mad at that knee.

Spence was landing clean hard shots, from the 8th rnd on, and didn't slow down one bit from that point, fight was over.

I thought kell was smart to quit.

This is back to back. We give other boxers **** for doing it once. Some people gave Dirrell hell for getting sucker punched twice 7 years apart. Brook doesn't get a pass on this.

Bellew just called it like he (and a lot of other people) saw it.
