Unrelated to you the people whining GGG ruined him...it wasn't the same eye. Also Brook was gassing from endless bodyshots up until then...it was plain to see his movement was stunted and he was starting to fade.
Brook was in top form. His right eye held up great. It wouldn't matter if his left/right eye was bothering as he was getting peppered with that goddamn jab all night. He needs to do a better job in the future either closing the distance, using head movement, or making his opponents reach. The jab is what ****ed his eye...not some fight 9 months ago that damage the OTHER eye

      Brook earned my respect.

This coming from someone who is a huge Spence fan and predicted Spence would pull this off.

Brook has nothing to be ashamed off.

      No gloating here.

Respect to both fighters for giving us a splendid fight.
      Somebody had to lose.

      Nature of the beast.

Neither of you have it right. Maybe you should actually watch the fight objectively before commenting. Like I predicted, it was a back and forth fight, until the eye injury. Good on Spence for getting in that solid shot, and for a great performance overall. But don't start in with this b.s. of him supposedly blowing out Brook. I haven't seen the scorecards, but I saw a 1 point advantage for Spence at the stoppage. Far from the blowout you Spence fans were saying would happen. Your guy won, and he's to be congratulated, but you don't need to be a *** about it. And he was full of b.s. saying he was flat. He was the same Spence who fought Algieri and Bundu. Brook was definitely a warrior, and he just needs to go up to jr middleweight. Nothing we didn't already think was on the horizon anyway.

He never boxed Golovkins ears off, he was shook in the first, threw some good flurries in the second, floored in the third and then harried to a stoppage two rounds later. He was ahead against Spence by the fifth. Brooks got an awkward style, Spence did well, stuck with it and deserved the win.

Is he's eye socket actually broke? If it is it makes you wonder if he has an actual weakness in hes facial bones. Didn't Carson Jones break he's nose too? I know Golovkin hits hard. But you wouldn't think that jab in the second in their fight was enough to cause that injury. Either way, Spence did well, Brooks tricky and alot of fighters don't travel well to the UK.

The power of body work/punches!!! Spence started the body work early. Then once the body was destroyed he would move it upstairs. Those bodywork did all the damage, the "eye" injury was a way out/excuse/reason to justify Brook quitting.

As much as im a huge brook fan i cant give him any excuses for his loss i thought there was not much between them going into the 7th but spence took over at that point and wore him down it wasnt a weight issue it was an accumulation of spences punches and brook panicked about his eye

Great win for spence im not sure brook should continue fighting now he has been in 2 very tough fights has issues with both eyes has been up and down in weight im not sure he will ever be the same again id hate to see him carry on and get koed by lesser fighters

You take a knee to buy time. Brook wasn't buying time here, he basically quit so please stop with the excuse about the referee stopping it. Of course the ref had to wave the fight off when you refuse to get up.

Can't say that. Saying something like that takes away credit from Eroll Spences victory and the kid deserves more than that. He beat an in shape KB. And to be honest that was the best shape I'd seen KB in a welterweight for some time.
