Spence looked good but he is not the 'New Coming'. He lacks great defence but has good defence. He got tagged by Brook way too much in the first six rounds. But Brook is very athletic if unorthodox.
Spence' offence is top level and he too his very athletic.
I still think Brook pre-Golovkin would have had more in the gas tank and he might not have shipped so much punishment.
If this was Brook's other orbital going then he must have some weird genetical issue with weak eye sockets because I don't recall any other fighter getting different orbitals broken in successive fights.

It was a very competitive fight, the comments that Spence outboxed him come from people who wanted to see spence win, but the truth was that it was a competirive fight, I was standing most of the fight due to the action, I was one of the ones that said that Spence was going to win, still I give Brook props because he is a true fighter and still one of the top 5 in the welterweight division, so he is no bum, no push over or a c class fighter like most pleople would say, someone loses a fight and suddenly they are sh&!, Spence did what he had to do, and Brook had the same demons that hunted matthyse when he fought light punching Postol, I would not know how it would feel to be blinded in one eye in a match, this is a sport not a death match, props to both, Spence did great, so did Brood and deserve respect for that, thats how true fights are supposed to be, not like all the cherry picking we see today. Hope to see them both on a ring soon.

This was a very well written post. I agree with this 100%. Brook did his thing and fought extremely hard. I had him winning the first half of the fight.

By that logic you can say Floyd wasn't the "1st coming" when at Spences age he struggled with Judah and lost a few of the early rounds and Judah wasn't necessarily the best fighter out at the time. If you think at the top level you not going to get hit you are delusional.

Kell clearly said Spence was one of the best If not the best he's ever fought and reminded him of GGG when he fractured his other eye....

I've watched the fight 3 times already, and it was a body shot in the 4th round by Spence,I think is what started Kell's downfall cause after that Spence started getting closer Brook started moving less and Brook started taking more shots

spence outmuscled brook, but didn't outbox him. he just ran over him when there was nothing left in brook's gas tank. spence's fans pretending he had it easy and that wasn't close are funny. i had it 5-5 after 10 with spence ahead by the KD.

I wanted spence to win and he did. That said I had it 5-4 going into the 10th. I hoped his body work would pay off and he knew it would or hoped...I won't say I wasn't nervous and by no means did spence easily out box him. Brook did what he does and box and clinch close. I enjoyed the fight and wasn't disappointed in the least. It was a tough fight and both fighters gave it everything they had. Hats off to both for sure was a great fight. I'm sure We'll see a lot more from both and tbh I would say brook beats Thurman....it remains to be seen but I got new respect for him tonight.

Of course Brook is still a top 5 welterweight in the division cause there is on 5 decent 5 fighters in the division
1.Spence -no one beats him in the division plain and simple
2.Thurman
3.Brook
4.Porter
5.Garcia who is reallya non factor in the division he should be at 140 really cause he has no power or speed to keep up with the natural welterweights in the division, once Crawford comesto 147 I immediately take Garcia out of the mix.

You forgot Amir Khan, Bradley and Pac didn't you?
