So you think a guy who almost beat a prime Leonard, defeated prime Cuevas, Benitez and Duran, loses to Spence? Hearns is at least 3 or 4 inches taller, has reach advantage and excellent all around boxing skills. Hearns all the way.

Lol, so based on Spence beating Chris Algieri and Kell Brook he beats a prime Tommy Hearns and knocks Hearns out? Lol, SMH

A Prime Hearns vs this Errol Spence would definitely result in a Hearns victory.

Once Spence gets hit by that right hand a few times, he would be out.

Let's wait and see how Spence career unfolds before these kind of comparisons are made. Spence has only beaten Kell Brook.

A better assessment can be made later on in Spence's career. Particularly when his prime is done.

Spence has a good chin and he is great at fighting on the inside. Go back and watch Hearns vs Hagler.

You can't make that comparison because it was at Freaking Middlewgt. Hearns was now facing bigger men at 160 lbs. Do you really think that Spence a 147 lbs can do all this at Middlewg? And since when da' fork, was Spence equivalent to Hagler???

              GTFOH!!!

I think its too soon to pretend match Spence against someone like Hearns.

Spence is basically a middle weight. He walks around at like 165. Plus, he is a better boxer than Hagler.

But Kell is a lot stronger than Hearns. Hearns was really skinny and that would be at his disadvantage.

Errol Spence today cannot beat a prime Tommy Hearns.

Errol Spence hasn't done enough to show that he can beat a prime Hearns.

Comparisons are way premature. Let's wait until Spence's prime years are over then better comparisons can be made. We haven't seen Spence fight at 154, 160 yet.

As of right now, the Spence of right now does not beat Hearns. Let's evaluate this question later after Spence is no longer in his prime. Then a proper assessment can be made.
