Was just asking about this in the other thread. Legit surprised one judge had Spence up by 5. Damn I definitely judged on expectations more than what was happening I guess cuz I had Brook winning by 1 going into the 11, although in my defense I didn't really legit judge like 3 rounds in the middle there cuz I was a lil freaked out at what I felt was Spence's less then stellar start.Comment

Had Brook ahead by 4 after 6, but he slowed down and Spence took control. Had Spence up by 2 at the end.Comment

97-92 seems seriously wide. lost track of scoring past midway point but probs had spence 1 or 2 rounds up.Comment

I didn't score the fight but it looked as though Brook was pulling ahead in the first half of the fight, but then he failed to win a round in the second half. So my scorecards would be in the region of 96-93.
It was a good fight and good case for perfecting body shots. Even though I don't think Spence controlled the earlier, the work put in allowed him to dominate down the stretch. Happy that I paid to watch this. Props to both fighters.Comment

I wasn't scoring too close, but Spence winning at the time of the stoppage is probably the right choice. He really took over for like 5 rounds straight before the stoppage.Comment

According to CompuBox, Errol Spence Jr. landed 246 of 633 total punches (39%) while Kell Brook connected only on 136 of 442 (31%). With the victory, Spence became the second fighter from the 2012 U.S. Olympic Boxing Team to win a world title (Rau'Shee Warren was the first).
I know Compubox is flawed, but I remember several times where the announcers and crowd were reacting to Brook misses a lot. Spence was off balance a few times, but he was still slipping a ton of punches.Comment
