Nope, Brook (typo before) was behind on all 3 scorecards. There is no "if', Brook was worn down by body shots, and then couldn't protect from the head shots. Spence was starting to steam roll him.

I don't care. But Brook deserves credit
Yeah, but the GGG fight wasn't stopped because of a broken orbital bone like they keep saying. They thrown in the towel because he was taking a beating.

How do you even know he broke his orbital bone in this fight? This is not even the same eye. I'm not saying Brook doesn't deserve credit, and perhaps quitting was the smart thing to do, if he knew he was going to be knocked out.

It's just old hat. Fighters do this all the time. When they have had enough they look the ref to get them to stop it. He was hinting at the ref to stop, but when that didn't work he took a knee and even got up right at 9, for the excuse that the ref counted him out, but he meant to get up at the right time.

Many boxers do this ****. It's fine, he was taking a beating towards the end.

You make a valid point but styles make fights and the triangle theory doesn't really hold water in boxing.

Thurman can be hurt to the body and probably delivers the hardest right hand in the division. His up jab is nice, his ring IQ is on point, but the question that will remain to be seen is how Spence will reach once Thurman lands flush. Thurman is dangerous in rounds 1-4 and will need to mix up his attack with Spence being a tall rangy southpaw with a nice jab.

i feel you, it could use some marinade, but that fight is the big juicy steak! The danger is letting the meat sit in the marinade too long! Manny wants major cash to fight Crawford! I bet Spence Jr. would fight Crawford in a PPV for half of what Manny wants! It's something for TC & Arum to think about! Bud vs. The Truth is a PPV fight on the level with Ward vs. Kovalev II!

That's the beauty of boxing right?
                That´s right!
Based on these last two fights I think Brook is not very good at surviving. Same as Cotto, when they are in trouble, you know they won´t get any better. You can have all the heart you want, but when in danger you need skills and stamina. If you are too tired to lift your arms, clinch or run, then it´s over.

Anyone questioning Brook's heart or grit - well, put them in a boxing ring with what Brook had left after 8 and see how far they get....he went beyond the call of duty
thats the truth mate . hes made his money time he put his feet up and enjoys his retirement,
