No, they arent yet... marquez is targeting cotto for december, but if canelo wants it, gbp will get it done for him.. but it wont be a bad idea to let cotto fight marquez first to build the rematch a bit more, at least among mexicans... cotto can fight marquez while canelo fights for the wbo title, then they can face each other in may 2018..

Yeah if a rematch happens it makes sense for it to build it like that. But i wouldnt be interested in a rematch personally

Dont get me wrong, i will rather watch canelo vs jacobs, charlo, andrade or even lara before cotto, but there is too much money on the table to let go, cotto is about to retire and those guys will be around for a while, so i understand what oscar wants to do...

That was my first thought upon hearing about the Golden Boy affiliation too. The other thought I had was partnerships of promotional companies.

Only Lara and Charlo are PBC, Andrade isn't part of them and always seems to talking more than fighting. Maybe Charlo and Lara wouldn't fight because they had the same trainer
