I don't care who made the rule. I just know its a bs rule & now its used & accepted by many black & many white people & I have a problem with both sides on it. Well if you pay attention to boxing you know Ward is kinda a diva/baby. That's just a fact. And if you pay attention to boxing you know Kovalev said/did some things that could be taken as racist by most reasonable cats with Adonis Stevenson. That's just a fact.

BUT that video wasn't racist. Kovalev is a piece of sh^t most likely, but I don't see the logic in condemning something that wasn't racist like it was racist cuz the guy who posted it is probably racist. I'm not defending Kovalev so much as defending humor. The video was funny. Its about two guys, one who's straight sh^t talking & another who wants to sh^t talk so bad, but because of one reason or another doesn't. That's the video. Its some sh^t we've all seen when a guy don't wanna start something with another guy or is a guy who's just trying to maintain a persona in a hostile situation. It has nothing to do with anything racist & its legit funny to me people are trying to make it something racist. Andre Ward is an Olympic gold medalist and a two division world champion that is near the top of the pound for pound list. That's what I know about boxing and Andre Ward. He speaks with dignity and respect. He's a born again Christian. All about him being a diva and a baby is too deep for me. I'm not into nitpicking people's personalities. I understand that a lot of boxing fans are really into that. I do however, pick up on the obvious stuff like racism, dishonesty and pettiness. So forgive me if Kovalev, GGG and Amir Khan are not my favorite fighters cause they embody the latter characteristics.

And the video itself is not racist but the person who posted it seems to be. His intentions are what are being questioned. You trying to make it strictly about the contents of the video it's self seems like a willful and disingenuous over site. Quentin Tarantino is making movies. His movies are art and they make a statement as a whole. There is no legitimate comparison between Pulp Fiction and Kovalev's Twitter account. A movie is a movie and social networking is a platform for people to express themselves personally. You know the difference.

And that's where we truly differ. Racism was, does, and is intended to limit people's access to resources and "success". And saying that racism is just someone's feigned attempt to excuse their lack of success is redundant and another popular and typical tactic that is employed by Sean Hannity and Bill O'Rielly regularly to trivialize racism.

I'm just of the belief lotsa people use lotsa things to hold you or I back. Racism is just one of many tools in the toolbox to do so. Black vs white racism specifically is at an all time low & that's why I believe some of this silly stuff like this video gets attention & blown up to being a bigger thing then it is. And just on a personal level for myself I believe overly focusing on one thing limits your ability to see other people trying to trip you up. I think a lot people of a non-white, non-skinny/in shape, non-attractive, non-English speaking, etc. backgrounds love trying to find any lil thing that limits there success besides themselves.

And again that's not to say racism or fatism or whatever that's called or nonenglishism or whatever that's called isn't wrong & bad, but I'm saying sometimes non-white, fat people & non-English speaking people spend more time trying to find things allegedly "holding them back" then they spend trying to actually succeed in their own lives.

And its funny because its a guy who wants to say aggressive things so bad & is fighting the urges to send these aggressive sh^t talking like things & ends up sending these kind or just casual type remarks. The use of the N word in the aggressive texts Andre never sends in the video is incidental & the video would be the same level of funny without the usage of the N word.

And I don't see it as defending Kovalev. I'm defending funny. If the video was exactly as scripted or even the same minus the N word, but Ward was seen in the video & his character in the video was some classic racial stereotype of a black guy then I'd say it had bad intentions & would've been something racially insulting.
