Once king got a hold of him, he was done. And ppl forget that he lost around 4 years of his prime in prison. I think he was a great fighter with no fear and a heck of a punch.

IMO, Tyson is as overrated as Tua is underrated. That being said, if both were bigger/taller they would dominate the HW division for ages.

There's a big difference between Tyson and Tua, boxing speaking. Tyson was more athletic, faster, better boxer and fearsome than Tua.

Some say he’s a top 5 ever and could never lose that’s gross overrating but some say he’s a bum so that’s gross underrating.

IMO he’s anywhere from 9-12 all-time at Heavyweight and probably somewhere from 125-150 amongst the greatest pound for pound.

fame to young for him. he was still maturing, sexually immature and hanging about with immature women too. People shouldnt get that rich and successful when they are still being heavily influenced by their hormones.

I mean, he was still a little teenager as regards his maturity, in many ways. I'm guessing ...thats why he was brought low so easy by a woman or assaulted her, i am still unsure which.

Had he delayed his rise, he might well have lasted longer.

people like to do the same thing to james toney underrate the **** outta him just because he had a few bad decisions knowing damn well he is like up there in terms of skill with mayweather and even surpassing him in a few areas

He isn't ove rated as people don't really rate his resume higher than it deserves. What people rated is the man's actual abilities.
People who got in ring with prime tyson and lennox Lewis rate Tyson better. It was more overwhelming to share ring with Tyson as he was ferocious

No he was not from 1985 to 1989 most of his wins were gainst either shot old fighters or tomatoe cans.....spinks was just to small to hang in there.....tyson was overated
