I do not want to see Spence become like him and am alarmed to hear him say he wants to be. I get the work ethic and focus that Floyd possesses, but not his fight tactics. Spence has the potential to become much more of a greater fighter.
I hear you - I think the safety first thing employed by Floyd was just his nature. I don't see anything from Spence that would lead me to believe he would follow down that road in his fighting style. He seems like he is a guy that just really likes to fight.

so you don't like Floyd's style, who cares because there are many that do ... you called him a cherrypicker but who has a better resume in the last 10 years since he's came back in 2007? And as much i like spence i dont think he can become a greater fighter than floyd......floyd was a first ballot hof'er by the time he was 28.

Now he just has to make sure he doesn't turn into a low-risk/high reward boring fighting. Keep taking on those big challenges, win convincingly. Be humble yet confident, don't slap your baby mamas around, and you should do well for yourself.
floyd was less of a favorite against hernandez, than spence is against brook....and he was younger also.

According to who? Spence/Brook is a 50/50 fight. Hernandez fought his last fight against Floyd. Was already beaten by DLH.

            according to vegas odds.

spence is -225, floyd was -135 (his lowest odds against any opponent to date).

actually there are a lot of parallels....

hernandez had only lost to oscar, in year 11 of his 14 year career, and was 32 when he lost to floyd.

brook has only lost to ggg, in year 12 of his 13 year career, and will be 32 when he loses to spence.

if you consider brook "prime," then fair to say genaro was "prime" also...or is it different because it was floyd?

floyd vs gatti was the catalyst for low risk, high reward fights to come...

I admit I like Spences attitude in this fight!

He's coming well prepared and says all the right things and does good things in the ring as well!

No doubt this guy has a bright future upon him once Brook makes him taste the bitterness of his first defeat!

Spence will be a better fighter after Brook knocks him out come Saturday but if he beats and destroys Brook..he..is...

                  The Truth ruth!!!

gatti was way better than a retired and drained de la hoya lmfao..... Oh i forgot manny the cherrypicker even made oscar sign a rehydration clause lmfao... Mayweather fought cotto and oscar at a full 154 like a real man with no rehydration clauses like a dirty politician.... Manny vs algieri and manny vs rios must be the biggest risks in boxing history to pac.turds hahaahah
