Kamegei is a beast. This is a guaranteed exciting fight. I have no problem with this being Cotto's comeback fight!

We'll see who he fights next.
If he's a younger guy & time is on his side I'm not a super fan of a light comeback fight, but I can understand it more.
When you could have your last fight any day now I think you take serious fights or just stay retired as I've more or less have considered Cotto at this point.

Cotto should outbox Kamegai, but anything can happen after a long layoff.
I don't care who wins, I just wanna see a good fight

Miguel Cotto is 3-3 in his last six fights.
Miguel Cotto hasn't won a junior middleweight fight in four years.
Miguel Cotto is 1-2 in junior middleweight fights in the last five years.
What justification is there for ranking him #1? What justification is there for ranking his opponent #5? What justification is there for allowing #1 to face #5 for the vacant title when there are available fighters ranked higher than #5?
Obviously the only thing the WBO cares about is the money, but they don't even have plausible deniability on this one.

Did any of you two cringe too reading this? What a ****ing **** resume for a "surefire hall of famer". **** me there's like one elite win he's ever gotten and that's Mosley.
Cotto title wins
Pinto - vacant belt
Quintana - vacant belt
Jennings - vacant belt
Foreman - disabled
Martinez - disabled
And now against Kamegai - vacant belt
Lost near enough every time he stepped up - Margarito, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Trout, Canelo. Low blowed Judah to death, beat past prime Mayorga, gift decision VS clottey, life and death with Torres...
The most overrated fighter of this generation

Cotto as my favorite fighter he needs to hang it up after this year. Kamegai then Marquez in December. I did hear that They are trying to set up a Cotto Lemieux matchup next. I do not like that one bit. That is very dangerous in this part of his career. Marquez would be the perfect final fight.
