If there's a boxing god out there, he will have Cotto lose this fight.

he's gonna lose. he doesnt do well with fighters that push the pace and can take a punch. if cotto doesnt take kamegai out early then cotto loses late possibly by a tko. cotto gonna gas around round 6-7 and then his confidence goes out the window and he's in survival mode.

Garbage. A has-been versus a never was. And keep in mind this is just a warm-up to the Cotto vs. Marquez PPV.

Cotto hasn't fought in nearly two years and is 3-3 over his last 6 fights.

Kamegai doesn't have a single quality win on his resume. He's 3-2-1 over his last six fights, including a loss to ALFONSO GOMEZ, a loss to Robert Guerrero and a draw versus Soto Karass.

Meanwhile Showtime is giving us Thurman vs. Garcia, Brook vs. Spence, Tank Davis, Berto vs. Porter, and Mikey Garcia vs. Broner. That's why I stopped subscribing to HBO.

Glad Cotto is back in the ring after a near 2 year layoff. I wish Kamegai was fighting a guy more at his level however he's been proven tough and will give Cotto rounds.

At least this isn't on Pay Per View and hopefully Golden Boy Promotions puts on a strong undercard for this fight.

What other pressure fighter besides Margo has Cotto lost to?

I am a Cotto fan but Pacman pressured and potted him to death. But besides that no one else.

He won't. Cotto said this is his last year fighting and it looks likely that his final fight will be a double retirement match against Marquez.

Cotto, a surefire, first-ballot Hall-of-Famer, has held world titles in the super lightweight, welterweight, junior middleweight and middleweight divisions and has fought and defeated a who's who of elite fighters over the last 15 years including Kelson Pinto, Demarcus "Chop Chop" Corley, Ricardo "Mochuelo" Torres, Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi, Zab "Super" Judah, Sugar Shane Mosley, Antonio "El Tornado de Tijuana" Margarito, Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga and Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez. - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/cotto-vs-....ROtOV8Zu.dpuf

Did any of you two cringe too reading this? What a ****ing **** resume for a "surefire hall of famer". **** me there's like one elite win he's ever gotten and that's Mosley.

                      Cotto title wins
                      Pinto - vacant belt
                      Quintana - vacant belt
                      Jennings - vacant belt
                      Foreman - disabled
                      Martinez - disabled
And now against Kamegai - vacant belt

Lost near enough every time he stepped up - Margarito, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Trout, Canelo. Low blowed Judah to death, beat past prime Mayorga, gift decision VS clottey, life and death with Torres...

The most overrated fighter of this generation
