Lol @ giving Canelo the date! It's Mexican Independence Day Floyd, not Irish Independence day.

You can't get right off the Mexicans this holiday buddy! Canelo's getting paid on this one now that they know he can do over 1 mill buys.

Nobody with sense would buy Floyd-McGregor over Canelo-GGG and at least somebody at Showtime has the common sense to know that.

    Bahahahaha!!!!!!

He's not giving anything that's spin for Canelo is refusing to move his date and he has no choice but to move his fight. I said this the other day and I'll keep repeating it going head to head HURTS Floyd/McGregor numbers more then the other way around. Almost nobody who is going to buy Canelo/GGG is going to pick Floyd/McGregor over it. Floyd/McGregor also costs more money because of the high guarantee amounts they NEED to sell more PPVs to break even. Canelo/GGG can go head to head and still do around 1m PPV buys which is enough to make money. Head to head Floyd circus fight ends up in the red.

This is about Floyd's ego he doesn't need the date anyway he's fighting a UFC fighter and they stage PPVs any month of the year. It makes no business decision when even Dana White already admitted they have to move the date. Forcing the issue for this date is like cutting off your nose to spite your face and all the investors would never let Floyd go ahead with it because they would lose money.

Apart from the trash talking,May-Mac holds no interest with me.I can't fathom why anyone would PAY to watch the fight.Didn't yous learn from the last washout with Mayweather?

Even if Mayweahter-Connor can sell more them going on the same date is clearly something that hurts both sides. It is over something ****** that doesn't really matter much anyway. They needed to move a bit faster if they wanted that date.

If they must mess with GBP go the first week of September. Going first screws them pretty badly and there is still plenty of time to promote the fight with all the talk that has already occurred. Still a pointless thing to do though as there is no harm that comes from and October or November date and they don't need to mess with anyone.

There's no way a fight with triple d1ck can do more sales than a fight with the biggest stars in 2 combat sports. Even if it is a circus show. If you really think this, there's something wrong with you.

I could also sell 1-2mil more by NOT fighting on the same date as Canelo/GGG.

Would have been a ****** move by Floyd and Showtime.

You know I'm right, that's why you took the time to quote me. Floyd doesn't want a "real" fight stealing any of his glory, and he knows that Mexican fans will be buying Canelo's fight, not his. His fight with Berto demonstrated how his own fans weren't willing to purchase any more mismatches and boring fights. He couldn't even sell out the MGM grand, and many fans walked out halfway into the fight.

Floyd is an attention-wh@re, and he doesn't want to share the spot light with Canelo/GGG. After the fight all the talk will be about Canelo/GGG, not Floyd/Conor, which will be a silly mismatch and a laughing stock once it is over.

I couldn't care less how much Floyd/Conor sells. It's a garbage fight and that's really the point I'm trying to drive across, and here's a news flash--not you or any other Floyd fan gets a dollar of that PPV money from Floyd, so why do you care so much about how well it sells or how much Floyd earns? Are you on his Christmas card list?
