Barrera and Morales were past prime. It's embarrassing people even mention Morales. He lost to ****ing Raheem and was drained back down to fight Pacquiao.
Pacquiao also has losses to Morales and JMM.
Mayweather schooled top 3 P4P fighters easily. Pacquiao himself was #2 only behind Mayweather. People like to try and rewrite history but Mayweather beat fighters when they were at the top of the sport.
This is why Mayweather is considered ahead of Pacquiao by most experts, fighters and trainers.Comment

Barrera was prime coming off 8 streak win. Morales was still greast, a loss don't make you not great. You'd still get credit for beating srr after his loss to Turpin. Moiraskes might have underestimated raheem as morales had many good performances in him in old age.
Floyd never schooled top 3 pfo fighters! Jmm was bloated. SSM just wasnt pfp no3. Floyd's famous for not fighting prime great fighters. He's famous for trying to get things in his favour or beating people with many losses on their records, be it baldomir, 5 loss SSM or lost to PAC 3 times already jmm.
Pac only lost to jmm as he gave him 4 chances. We don't know how many times floyd would lose to jmm, PAC, or nelo if he fought them 3 times let alone 4 times.

Keep living in fantasy land. Mayweather is widely considered greater than Pacquiao. Morales wasn't half the fighter he used to be when Pacquiao beat him. "Barrera had 8 wins" A fighter having 8 wins means he's prime now? All the JMM fights were either way fights. He's a step below Mayweather always has been.

That doesn't change he fought them when they weren't in their prime. Pac was in his prime in 2008 and that prime was a couple of levels above where he was in 2015. Sure Floyd was better in 2008 too but I think Pacs fall from his prime was greater than Floyd's.
Whats more, Floyd saw weakness in Pac before the fight got made. There's a reason why top level boxers always speak about "the blueprint" . Now same deal with Golovkin, after Brook Jacobs was mentioning blueprint.
Now after Jacobs many experts and other boxers talking about him being exposed and the blueprint is out.
Now, if they are doing that after Golovkin ran over Brook and went neck and neck with Danny then how much more of a blueprint existed for a smart fighter like Floyd to study after Pac's losses to JMM and Bradley?
Thing is, you come on here on a slow news day and seek agreement from others that Floyd's resume is immaculate - but if he'd fought those fighters in their primes one of two things would have happened >> either he'd be the undisputed best fighter of the last 30 years or he'd have been found wanting. Floyd was all about the money and not the legacy and neither he nor his fans should be trying to revise history after he's hung em up.Comment
