The only thing that Errol Spence jr. can learn from this geezer 'Sugar' Ray Leonard and his fight with 'Marvelous' Marvin Hagler is to not let it go the distance otherwise they might rob 'The Truth' Spence, but Errol intends to send Kell Brook to the hospital before they do him like Hagler back in 1987. #MANDOWN

Oh before I forget...deep down inside I think 'Sugar' Ray is rooting for Kell Brook because he sympathizes and empathizes with certain parallels in his and Brooks career : like with Kellys eye injury as he ( Leonard) himself overcame a detached retina in his left eye and had a terrible performance the previous fight leading up to Hagler with Kevin Howard.

Spence is more like the Hagler in this fight. So it doesn't make any sense.

I wouldn't bet on that strategy; Especially on foreign soil. Thirty years ago yeah perhaps but in today's era of boxing, judges tend to favor the aggressive boxer. That pitty pat shots while on the run strategy is outdated and won't get the job done.

So strategy. Stick and move, flurry last 30 seconds. Errol naturally sits on his punches more than ray and brook clearly is able to be hit.

Spence is able to be hit too but Spence seems to sit on his punches a bit more. If brook can catch Spence in between I think he has a shot, but spences dedication to hard shots and fundamental defense I think gives him a bit of an edge
