Looks like the fighters I was going to mention are already in the thread. I'd say as far as pure hand speed goes, Mayweather deserves to be in the conversation. The way he hits the speedbag is fookin crazy. And his ability to get just out of the way of a punch and throw a super fast counter was also outstanding.

Khan is also an honorable mention here. Never thought super highly of him but his hands are really quick.

jones has the fastest punches i've seen, but camacho, taylor, robinson, leonard, russell jr. Loma, all have impressive hand and foot speed. Manny had a combination of hand/foot speed and one of the fastest one-punch deliveries in boxing.

Pure hand speed? Good question - there is probably no wrong answer here.

I do enjoy functional speed though - like countershots where you can see a fighters eyes and hands working together to telegraph a shot, and put one back on 'em. That's beautiful.

You can see with the naked eyes that RJJ is faster. It's actually a testament to Roy that despite being the bigger guy, he's faster than the lighter speed demons like Floyd and Manny Khan etc etc.
