I love all these experts on this forum that say he could have continued. I guess they felt the punch also. And his damn corner wasn't in the ring when he was on the canvas speaking with the doctor. We don't know how hurt that dude was but we do know that the punch was after the bell. Easy fix though! Y'all just go find a random guy, about Uzcategui size and allow him to hit you on your chin and then see how long it takes you to get up.

Haha, this was disgusting, he was fine, looked to his corner and asked them what to do. His corner YELLED At him that he should not get up and fake a knockout, only THEN Dirrel went down again and acted all confused and out. What a fucking disgrace the whole Dirrel family is.

If he was hit late and hurt why wouldn't his team tell him not to get up? He got dropped hard.

My main issue is I think the ref blew the call. Guy landed the punch that hurt Dirrell before the bell & just landed the one that took him out right along with or milliseconds after the bell. It wasn't some intentional sh^t. And Dirrell was legit hurt. It was a DQ immediately as handled.

2 punches after the bell is not milliseconds. Especially when you have already received a hard warning for punching after the bell in a previous round.

It's not what put him down that is in question. It's his ability to continue. The ref made it clear if he can't continue he wins. Big mistake.

It was a bit late but no later than punches we see in most fights where there's plenty of action up until the bell, it's just this one happened to drop him so it seems a lot worse.

Also, it seems to be the punch just before the bell was the one that hurt him, the one after finished him but Uzcategui was in motion when the bell rang, so what can he do?.

Dirrell is lucky here and knew what he was doing.
