I don't find any shame in admitting that you may not be ready for a particular fighter. It takes some self awareness to reach that conclusion. Remember how many thought that Vargas wasn't ready for Tito and he was never quite the same afterwards?

The fight will happen but we all know Loma is more advanced than Tank at this stage of his career and it would likely set up Tank for failure.

Canelo fought Floyd when he was around the same age as Gervonta and Floyd was a few years older than Loma.

Much better risk versus reward there for Canelo than for Tank.

He is fair game. He is a champion and needs to defend his title against all challenges. Maybe not Loma right away, but a couple fights down the line isn't out of the question. I'd like to see him fight Berchelt. Those saying he is too young need to GTFO. Davis had a long amateur career of over 220 fights, he is more than seasoned. If anything he has a youth advantage over Loma. Mike Tyson was 20 when he won a world title and was tearing through grown ass men who were much bigger than him. Let's not allow Davis the same excuse pattern as his mentor Floyd used all his career. Step up or step out.

Canelo had 45 pro fights under his belt and a 20 pound size advantage.

Canelo had virtually NO amateur fights. Davis has over 220 amateur fights.

He was in fact very close to the same size as Floyd "Queen of the Catchweights" Mayweather, who made him drain down to 152.

Heres why i am going to say the fight wont happen. Lomachenko will continue to move up in weight. Loma would win if they fought. The only person who I think can beat Loma is Rigo
