  • How bad can the Pacquiao/Horn fight really be...

Look, we all know it's a whack ass fight. Anybody who knows me on here knows how big of a Manny fan I am. The fight's bad. It is.

    BUT

How bad can it really be...when even Paulie is defending it??

It's bad but it ain't near as bad as people are making it out to be

Not horrible but not great. It falls in the "meh, I'll watch" category.

Paulie is a hipster. And you know he's basically saying this so he can try to say that when he does criticize Pacquiao, that he has nothing against him.

On face value its real bad considering who is involved and their respective resumes, if Manny out classes the guy or does easy rounds to win on points, then its what people think, if Horn doesn't shell up and has a really go then it could be a fight for 4 rounds and Horn will go, maybe Horn lands a haymaker but that's very unlikely.

What it boils down to is Arum is milking the system, the fights people want to see Manny in a very dangerous fights, Arum is taking the long way around to that point Manny will get beat and TC is being groomed for that occasion. They not going to put Manny in with a top WW, they all called him out and Arum picked Horn.

So for me this fight is just as much BS as Floyd Connor, but I do understand why both fights are what they are, Floyd and Manny are at the point where its all about risk vs reward they not looking for legacy they have that, now its purely about money and not getting beat, cant blame any of them if people pay the crazy money to make these events happen, then we will continue to get more total miss matches like both fights..

No US broadcaster worth anything is going to pick up a fight from Australia featuring Manny Pacquiao. Maybe one of the spanish channels, but that's about it.

With Pacquiao's pay being what it is, Bob Arum will again try and put the fight on PPV.

Can waste your time with the fight if you want, but I've got better things to do with my time, tbh.
