Comments Thread For: Golden Boy Prez: Canelo-GGG Won't Budge For Floyd-McGregor!

No matter what happens in the next week or so with the ongoing negotiations for Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor, Golden Boy Promotions President Eric Gomez has made it clear that Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin will NOT budge from the scheduled date of September 16th. The last few days have created a mountain of headlines in boxing and MMA, because McGregor and the UFC have reached a financial agreement on their end to go forward with a boxing match against Mayweather.

Don't even tripp on it Eric. Floyd's not ****** enough to try and go head to head with his sorry ass ppv against Canelo-g string.
Mayweather can have any date he wants except September 16.

I think it would be foolish for Mayweather and the UFC to even bother to go head to head. They can choose any date to have that sparring session it will have no competition which will max the sales. I wont lie I will check it out at a friends house any other time but on that same day I rather pay for and see Canelo/GGG.
