All PPV fights are buyer beware. It was CINCO DE MAYO!!! WTF we ALL thought Chavez would be good... We eat, drank, and ***ed... I lost lil $$$.

Of course all fights are buyer beware but, at the same time of course, that reason doesn't make all fights PPV worthy. Only the most promising and meaningful fights should go to PPV. Dela Hoya may have sold you a lifetime supply of kool-aid for this fight but not me. I knew this fight was BS from the start. All of Canelo's fights have been since Cotto. And no, having a good time outside of the fight did not require him to fight Chavez. Pretty much any fighter would have done due to Canelo's star power which he has shown and was precisely my point. You had to be a dumb ass to pay for this fight. Chavez has no discipline what so ever. This was a nationalistic fight which I have no problem with but not worth my money.

Ok fine, you bought it for a good time, that's different. But not everyone has that motivation and the fight didn't need to be on PPV for that. Furthermore, it still takes away promoters incentive for good fights. Hence exploitation. That's why Canelo was able to cherry pick so much. I guess it depends on what you want more from a PPV fight. $70 is not much to spend but I know the value of a dollar. I wouldn't spend $10 on a box of cereal because I know that's a rip off. By the same standard, I won't spend $70 on a BS fight.

I ALWAYS buy boxing PPV's (If worht it) because I LOVE the game and used to be in. I don't stream sht. I won't watch it like you said if it suks. AGAIN I have NOT seen GGG/Wade or Canelo/Smith. I don't waste time on sht fights.
