this revelation is a sad reality for golovkin fans..on a couple of levels

first of all they have called a 27 year old guy, who is giving golovkin this fight, a coward for a couple of years now....

but this is the first actual MW that canelo is going to fight...and its supposedly this ATG golovkin....but golovkins fanboys have already cheapened this fight the way they do with most....see...they thought canelo was going to duck and duck...so they trashed this kid.....they did it with jacobs too when they thought he was going to duck.....

even in victory...it will only be a name for golovkin....it will be canelos first MW fight ...and canelo has already been trashed by golovkins fans as a pansy who will be easily knocked out because he is "trash"

I like Golovkin, and I totally agree no one should be calling Canelo a coward. Took a year or 1.5 to make the fight, but that's normal boxing BS, I don't blame Canelo for that.

But the same people in this thread who don't want Canelo to be unfairly attacked are making the same BS claims about Golovkin avoiding Ward. How about we drop the BS also?

Golovkin had already signed for a unification fight when Ward offered a deal that would require him to wait for Ward to take multiple tune up fights, drop two middleweight belts, and move up in weight. That's not a serious offer. If Ward wants to fight 2 years down the road, let him negotiate 1.5 years down the road.

Ward's own trainer said he could move back to 168 to fight Golovkin and Ward said, no, I'm not doing that!

Neither side is innocent of avoiding the other, and neither side is guilty either. The fight was never close to being made.

If you want to be fair to Canelo, how about being fair to Golovkin? We got three great fighters, Canelo, Golovkin, Ward, why can't we just enjoy them instead of lying to support claims about who avoided who?
