I think Davis is a much better boxer than Broner. He throws at least twice as many punches per round as Broner does. He has never failed to make weight. He is better puncher for his weight than Broner with a higher KO percentage. He doesn't clinch all the time to slow the action the way Broner does. Broner's excessive clinching, holding and wrestling makes many of his fights ugly to watch. I would rather watch a real KO artist like Davis fight. I think he will score another crushing KO tomorrow. He is a good champion to travel to another country to defend his title. Broner never did that.
Davis reminds me more of a Zab Judah than Broner at the moment. Take that as a positive or a negative. Zab obviously had a good career but not a great one. Davis will need to add a lot to his game to reach the next level.
