Look people can be a fan of G and not think he can beat all those guys on your list. I liked Hagler but I never thought he could beat SSR or move up and beat Spinks.

no need to fight other MWs before taking over the top dog, canelos first win over a legit MW will be GGG, not bad at all for a 26yo...
Keep smoking that ****, canelo's not beating ggg, he's got no power he will get busted up

that is the very basics of boxing, and it applies to everyone8

the clowns who ran around calling 155 middleweight know nothing about boxing or making weight
Not trying to back rrayvez up but 154.1To 160 is considered middleweight. But no one should be weighing in at 155 for a championship fight doe. All title fights should be at the weight limit in each division that's 1 rule that should be mandatory asap by all sanctioning bodies. I think a lot of boxing fans can get behind that. Don't know about the fighters or promoters doe trying to gain the biggest advantages now a days instead of having both fighters fight straight up no games with weight gloves or drug testing every thing even.

          rubbish !!

154.1 may technically be within the middleweight range

but 160 is considered as middleweight

now you get to answer those two questions.....

          1) what middleweight weighs 155 ?

          2) if 155 is middleweight, then why wouldn't Golovkin fight Canelo at "middleweight"?

seriously, how the fk could 1lb = 1 division ?

          that is casual-fan bullshht

boxing is not a maths game, or a video game

Canelo fought JMW opponents ONE POUND over

one pound does not a middleweight make

you guys need to get a grip, that fanboy bullshht got blown out of the water when Canelo won the WBO title at 154

          again, more rubbish.....

FACT: after Canelo vacated, Mr "anyone from 154-168" still totally refused to negotiate on weight..... so the "championship" had nothing to do with it

Mr " anyone from 154-168 " refused to be a man of his word, so Canelo eventually conceded on the weight..... but once again, you guys blame the red kid and ignore the compulsive liar

NO knowledgeable insider referred to Canelo-weight as middleweight..... including Golovkin himself

                answer those 2 questions foolio

                1) what middleweight weighs 155 ?

                2) if 155 is middleweight, then why wouldn't Golovkin fight Canelo at "middleweight"?

                calling 155 middleweight is ******ED

let me show you just how ******ed that is

Golovkin: Middleweight is 160 lbs, not 155 lbs.....
                http://www.fight news.com/Boxing/golovkin-middleweight-is-160-pounds-not-155-pounds-324855

you clowns started that rubbish when your boy refused to be a man of his word and negotiate on weight..... so you came out with "Canelo a middleweight doe"

like I said earlier, that childish nonsense should have stopped when Canelo won the WBO title at 154

"I’m not too big..... My [weight].... 30 days before my fight, I’m 165 [pounds] after [drinking] water. Yesterday after sparring, I was 164..... I’ll go to 154..... 154 is a very good category for me. 168 or 175"
During a recent appearance on ESPN's First Take, IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (36-0, 34 KOs) explained that he is still very interested in fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs) at a catch-weight of 154 or the full middleweight limit of 160.
