Do you guys think this fight would derail the Spence hype train just like Broner?

It would derail anyone. He is very good though. I just thought he should of worked the top 10 fighters first. Guys like Bradley, Garcia, Porter, Alexander or Cotto. Only guy HE SHOULD of crossed the pond for is Kahn but that guy knows better.

For all his size, Brook is somewhat feather-fisted and I don't see him doing much to deter Spence's aggressive offense.

I do agree that Brook's key is to keep moving and don't let him set his feet. Later movement and an active jab (Ali style) are his best bet. He could very well win on that alone and I don't think it's an easy fight for Errol. I think, even if he wins, it will be a learning experience.
eh? how did you come to that conclusion?

Brook is so overrated its not even funny. Spence is still unproven but hes no JoJo Dan. This fight will make Spence look like the dark skinned GGG.

To answer TS though, I doubt Spence goes balls out right from the get go on Brook, he will be a little more tactical. Spence in his last fights didnt have to fear power so no sense in wasting time and energy bobbing and waeving against Algeri and BooM BooM Bundu lol Spence by 8rd TKO.

I'm picking Spence by late TKO cuz of two things, his pace, and Brook's stamina. When Brook gets fatigued, he drops his hands leaving his defense leaky AF. Spence's high pace will play into that, causing Brook to be ripe for the taking when he gets tired. Brook will tire out and Spence will close the show!

Broner is a 4 division champion and still younger than most of the fighters you like

I truly believe Spence would get flustered in this fight and not be able to do what he normally does in a low level fight.
Bradley, for example, didn't respect Provodnikov the same way he did Marquez or Pacquiao, thus he was more ****y and more aggressive in the Provo fight, which sent him to the canvas twice or got rocked numerous times.

Point is the same strategy might not work on a higher level opponent, and you can't treat everyone the same. Becoming too cautious as a result might not be a good thing either.

Its 100% possible Spence could lose here. This isn't gonna be Algieri II for Spence that's for sure.

I'm personally thinking Spence is gonna pull it out cuz I don't think Brook is THAT good as many feel like he is, but I suspect this will be a competitive fight that Spence could easily come up short in.
