    Randomly now that you bring that up doe I'm sure there are a ton of regular hour gigs in the security/bodyguard professions that a boxer could take advantage of for extra income while waiting for fights or if he's not one of the few guys making 6 digits & up for fights which is probably 99.5% of the guys boxing.
    Sorry for the late reply but yeah it is more acceptable in a way, he was looked at as a celebrity working the door when I saw him. He was more of a meet and greet "security guard", he was very polite and well mannered. Am sure loads of other big guys like him have an extra job.

        I think it really depends on the percentage trainer, promoter, manager, and training camps take out. IIRC Victor Ortiz circa Andre Berto 1 had a manager that took 25%~ right off the top.

          IIRC as well, one of the reasons why so many boxers signed with Al Haymon is that he only charged 10% or something.
