Comments Thread For: Mayweather Refuses To Respond To McGregor Contract Claims

Floyd Mayweather has refused to respond to Conor McGregor's claims the Irishman has signed to fight him. UFC lightweight champion McGregor, 28, earlier said he had concluded his side of the negotiation process and that he hoped Mayweather would sign to fight "in the coming days".

Mayweather went about it the right way he is there to promote his fighter not hype up what we all know will happen. Too much money to be made off the casual fans out there and the other morons who think McGregor actually has a shot.

Good on Mayweather keeping focus on the fighters, credit due there. Of course he also likes to be in total control and make it appear that he runs negotiations (which was usually the case anyway) so I am sure he hates the Dana White announcement. I expect this to keep stalling out another couple of weeks.

If I was a betting man I bet the contract mcgregor signed was just how much of the % Dana is taking. I'm sure they're well aware floyd calls the shots here

Even in press conferences Floyd's got this guy backing up and not knowing what's going on still would be surprised that the fight happens but it would be a Total Domination by FM...

Floyd is growing up. Only took 40 years.
