yeah and ALI embarrassed himself. And if you already know what happened. Ali almost lost his leg that night to the point another few kicks to his shin would have gotten his legs amputated. True story. look it up.

That fight could have ruined Ali.

Floyd's fight with McGregor can ruin Floyd too..

Floyd's Legacy, respect is down. If for some crazy luck McGregory survives 12 rounds and lands decent shots on Floyd. Even if McGregor loses he still wins in the eyes of many, and if he lands that Lucky punch on Floyd, this will put a big black eye in our sport that we love. Lighting can strike, it's rare, but as what happened to ALI, this time it might turn south bigly for Floyd and bring the whole boxing to irreparable damage.

#if you really are a fan of Floyd you won't support this fight.

I responded to the thread question.

Remember Conor called Floyd out. Not the other way around. Now the public wants to see the fight for some strange reason ans they're willing to pay Floyd hundreds of millions of dollars to do it. It's a no brainer really.

You can't be serious. Individuals cultivate their own celebrity. They can't live off the doings of others. Most people (except ******ed nsb denizens) see this as sideshow fight or a gimmick. They aren't taking it seriously.

However because Floyd might make money a few of those most jealous of him ( not saying you) are making such a big deal about this as if the sport will be harmed by this.

The sport will be fine, same as it was after Ali/ inoki or at wrestle mania. Floyd has crossed over into the mainstream, showing that not only isn't the sport dead but that being a prize fighter is still a mechanism you can use to superstardom.

more current guys need to learn how to create interest in themselves so they can crossover into the mainstream. Why would any diehard boxing fan not want fighters to get these types of commercial opportunities?

Youre a tard who runs around here thinking Pac actually won the fight. You hold ZERO credibilty and take Fanboyism to a whole other level.

People keep saying floyds old and retired but hes not really retired is he if hes willing to box again?
Is 40 really that ancient in boxing terms? Klitschko just fought joshua in his 40's and gave him hell, hopkins fought kovalev in his 40's, yet mayweather fights someone whos 0-0? What a damn pathetic way to go 50-0.
Actually should this farce even count as a 50th win?
This should be an exhibition/celebrity fight instead, not a prof one. it'd be a joke that it'd break marcianos record lmao

I wouldn't call it a cherry pick. Floyd's asking for a 9 figure payday for the McGregor and chances are, he's going to get it. Conor's purse will be significantly smaller, but he's still making more for this fight than he has in his MMA career.

Their egos are too big for them to pass up on the money they stand to make for this boxing spectacle.

This isn't a cherry pick for Floyd. He's going to blow Conor out. It's a cash grab.

It's not about cherry picking, it's about the huge amount of money he's going to get. He couldn't care less about the pick.

Isn't Pacquiao fighting some guy named "Horn" after turning down Khan?

What has no buzz is this McGregor fight lmao.

In NSB boxing fans hands down see PAc vs May rematch to be bigger.

                      case in point.

This thread below alone did 11,000 views in 3 days in NSB. And these Fl0mos say there isn't any buzz lol

When McGregor Floyd threads can hardly reach 2k lol

Thread For: Pacquiao: I'd Love Mayweather Rematch, I Never Lost That Fight!

NSB is different from the general public tho. On here Kov-Ward was huge but the fight flopped on PPV.

Floyd VS Conor is something non fight fans even talk about. It's in every news site etc. Also you get the UFC fans to tune in & UFC is a bigger sport in the US in the US.
