Nightmare match up Boxing wise for Canelo. Winky was a pain in the ass to fight and I can see it being like the Tito fight where Canelo gets nothing off. UD Winky

I forgot about Canelo's defensive upper body movement in my analysis.

That would definitely help him. But I still have Winky winning by pretty much picking off Canelo's shots with his high shield guard and countering him for most of the fight.

The crazy thing about Winky with that high shield cage guard for me was he has some damn long elbows that reach down to his belt line pretty much, so that guard was like a Captain America shield and he would jab and counter you off shots deflected from his high guard cage shield.

He said he doesn't keep a closed fist when he has his guard up, that's the "long elbows that reach down to his belt line" you were talking about.

You know he'll get the benefit of the doubt. One judge gave him a draw against Floyd.

To be fair though, I thought he deserved his wins over Lara and Trout.

Yeah I had no qualms about his decision wins over Lara and Trout.
