Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr. Breaks His Silence on Scandalous Post-Fight Video

Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has finally broken his silence regarding several controversial videos that began circulating last week. The video were shot last Monday in Las Vegas, two days after his lopsided defeat to country rival Saul "Canelo" Alvarez at T-Mobile Arena. Chavez Jr. was intoxicated in the videos, but one of them in particular showed the boxer laying on a bed with several women surrounding him. The women wore revealing outfits and at least two of them were removing articles of clothing to showcase their bodies.

He can still be a good opponent for some of the up and comers at 168 or 175. He needs to pick a division and stick with it.

He needs at least a few fights to get himself back in form.

I don't think anyone took advantage of Chavez. He simply decided he wanted to party and in the morning his guests decided to take off with some of his valuables so he told his wife he was set up.

Chavez looked really comfortable on the bed with all those girls around and one rubbing his stomach. Didn't seem like anyone had a gun to his head.

                Very true.

He can either dedicate himself completely to his game (I doubt it) or he can fight just for money, be a journeyman, and amass lots of losses (the more likely scenario).

He seems like a nice guy. Good luck to him.
