Canelo loses if Red mex engages and slugs it out with GGG in a man a mano manner mid ring slugfest. Even though Canelo has the speed and youth advantage over GGG it appears GGG is much smarter than Canelo. If Canelo wants to prove he can KO GGG then the fight is already over. Not sure if Canelo the mex can actually fight a smart fight as mexicans hardly ever fight a smart fight. Mexican boxers just wail and flutter away till someone drops. Ole' Si'Comment

Actually Mongoloid ggg is more of a brawler than whiteboy canelo...I am not saying that whiteboy is going to beat Mongoloid, I am just pointing out your flawed analysis. Also do not repeat what you hear Lampley and the likes say because you will sound foolish. The best Mexican fighters have been technical or boxer punchers.Comment

Canelo might beat GGG on a decision. Most mexican fighters just come out winging and swinging with little tactical thought or a fight plan. Mexicans have never been known for intelligence just swinging away and hoping to land somewhere. When one really thinks about it have there ever been a great mexican fighter who beat Americans up?Comment

It sounds like all you have watched as far as Mexicans is Alfredo Angulo... I mean if you actually watch boxing you will realize that Asians (Japanese, Filipinos, Thais) all have a similar style to Mexicans, a lot of Russians do too. Blacks from Africa and a lot of Irish fighters as well. It is a forward offense first style. It is when you get to a certain level that all that changes. Don't think about it, go and watch fights and find the answer for yourself.Comment

I have seen very few mexican fighters that were any good over the years. Chavez Sr beat a few names but got battered in the end. Salvador Sanchez could have been the best Mex ever. Juan Marquez average at best. Canelo is on his way to maybe being Mexcio's best ever. But few from Mexcio were ever GREAT. Most were all mini mex's anyway half pints and shrimps dwarfs boxing. Mexico is mexico not much there.Comment

Dang it, you beat me to it! But there is still this gem from Gonzalez: "We are hoping for the biggest spectacle of the year and hope that what happened with Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. does not happen here" In other words, it sounds like Gonzalez's confidence in Canelo against Golovkin is rather dubious.Comment
