Since golden boy announced their TV deal ESPN has been really investing in boxing. A lot of coverage for the canelo/chavez fight, joshua, GGG/Jacobs before that, and now bumping up this card from ESPN2 to ESPN. Great for the sport and boxing is riding a lot momentum in 2017. Diego and Big Meech will have extra eyes on them need to take advantage and impress.Comment

It's true. That may 5 card with Gamboa vs Castellanos was phenomenal.I saw Fat Dan say Golden Boy was putting on more competitive fights on ESPN than PBC did. I mean, we can go thru the fight schedule and compare the cards and see that's not true. I just don't get why these people are so hell bent on destroying PBC that they'll flat out lie when we can see the truth for ourselves
Pbc on espn had done great fights early on. Leo vs mares for example but once their budget was severely cut their last 7-8 shows were fs1 level fights.Comment

Honestly, I dont remember seeing A Fight that was NOT competitive on this series. Mr. Gamboa was a huge favorite Last Time. The underdog Won. I dont remember all the names of hand, but I have seen Many Competitive Fights. Plus, we get Teddy Atlas' commentary again. Missed hearing his Weekly analysis on FNF. When he came up with his funny analogies, and Joe Tessitore would roll his eyes, I would laugh my head off, because theres only 1 Teddy!

The thing is there's too many haters on here that don't like Oscar. I don't understand why they don't like Oscar to begin with... Maybe he ****ed their wives-girlfriends-mothers- sisters, IDK... Me, I could care less what Oscar does with his personal life. I love the fact that he's putting on great fights on ESPN. I give Oscar and Al Haymon props for putting on great fights on TV.Honestly, I dont remember seeing A Fight that was NOT competitive on this series. Mr. Gamboa was a huge favorite Last Time. But too many ****** idiots on here that don't like Oscar for whatever reason fail to see that the fights Oscar has put on ESPN are pretty good fights and evenly matched. That's why there's been a few upsets already since Oscar started the ESPN deal.
But too many ****ing haters that have never accomplished anything in life hate to see another man succeed. They the type of fools that wanna keep another man down with them. That makes punks like Jason Shaw and kigali and rravez and scipio 2009 some sorry piece of shets! **** all the haters that hate on Oscar, Canelo, and Golden Boy promotions! And that goes for cowards that hate on another man cause he succeeded and they didn't! **** all the haters out there. You punks can go choke on a ****!Last edited by BigStomps; 05-16-2017, 04:22 AM.Comment

That fight was equal to Guerrero v Peralta which wasn't one of their top cards.Comment

That fight was on Spike NOT ESPN. You quoting fat boy Dan who was asked if PBC is still on ESPN and he said that deal is dead and that he didn't care because golden boy has put on more competitive fights then PBC on ESPN. In just 2 months they probably already have more upsets, more 50/50 fights going in then PBC had in 2 years on ESPN. Spike had more lower level fights but more competitive fights then any of the bigger PBC networks. ESPN started with big name showcases a lot of dreadful fights then ran out of money in year 1 and became B and C level showcases in year 2 and are now done.Last edited by bigdunny1; 05-16-2017, 09:15 AM.Comment
