While I'm glad he didn't pull any of that "marinating" excuse making, I think Oscar knows that if he didn't make the fight now, there was a risk that either Canelo or GGG will lose in the next year and it removes a lot of the demand for this fight. When you take a look at 160 there aren't a lot of easy fights for Canelo to make big money. No more WWs are moving up any time soon and there is no one at 168 that would be PPV worthy. This is the right time for this fight before either of them risks a loss, or people accuse Canelo of waiting for GGG to age out the way Mayweather did with Pac.

The best promoter out there right now. He even risk Vargas to Berchelt and we got a great fight.

Oscar is such a generous person with the fans. Too late and the numbers would've dropped.

As much as people always say Floyd brings up Oscar I see Oscar bring up Floyd just as much. Those fools really do hate each other

This is the same cross-dressing imbecile that after fighting Trinidad at 147 Ibs went on to fight small guys (Arturo Gatti, Yori Boy Campas, Steve Forbes) or irrelevant fighters like Javier Castillejo, Dereck Coley and even Mayorga in meaningless fights with no belts at stake.
And now he acts like he fought the best. His blueprint is what Canelo is using. At least Floyd did fight LEGIT belt holders since 2005 (except for Berto).

Oscar is low life, hypocrite and he is no different from Don King (the ex-con murderer) or the Bob Arum (the ******)

Ahhhhh, it was a condensed version of the mayweather model. He tried to use the flat fee offer thing to buy himself time while trying to save face, make lesser fights in the meantime (although Floyd at least fought champions while Canelo fought guys in khan and Chavez who hadn't held a belt in yrs) . And once there was a sign of a possible decline in performance, the fight suddenly became easy to make.

Oscar can't forget being stripped by Floyd & ****d by PAC. Didn't get in on mega fight and about to have his gold ripped out of his boy in Sept. luck of the fishnet.
