Both were hyped as power punching destroyers when truth is they arent one punch knockout artists

Both were hyped by knocking out guys who werent knocked out before. Lacy vs Reid and Spence vs Algieri. At least Reid was a legit fighter while Algieri is a glorified journeyman.

I just wish I can find an angle like haymon to take advantage of financially weak minded pions like you. Haymon knows the African-American tendencies better than anyone even Don King.
Spence and Lacy are miles apart. I never bought into Lacy, the skills just weren't there (as Calzaghe brutally exposed) but I buy into Spence. Just no way he will get undressed like Lacy did. I've followed both Brook and Spence and Brook is very good, but Spence is elite, and this fight will show it.

All of this talk about Brook moving to 154, leaves out one important detail- he can't beat the best at 154! Lara, Andrade, Charlo all beat him. And none of them have the name or aurora of Spence. Brook realized this and realized he can get 75% of the purse and have it take place, literally, in his hometown. Brook has everything in his favor, this is his best chance, and his only real option. There are still chances at WW after losing to Spence. There is still Khan, there is still the pipe-dream of Pac, there is Thurman, there is a rematch with Porter. All are bigger paydays than Lara, Andrade, or Charlo. If Brook has to move up because he can no longer make weight, his career is pretty much over. The best he can hope for at 154 is being a gatekeeper for an ignored division void of big names. Brook was ducking Spence, but Haymon moved Spence up the rankings to become Brook's mandatory, knowing full well Spence would have to take the title from him in England. Now Brook really doesn't have any options.
          This!!
Could not have said it any better!!!!

In many ways he was caught between a rock and a hard place.

Spence is a great fighter, no doubt, but he's always in there with someone whose no threat, meaning he has far more attributes in there than his opponent. Saw the Cruz fight. He beat him up good but what I noticed is when Cruz was aggressive and landed, he went into a very defensive mode.
Brook met a similar guy but who was much more of a threat in Porter. Porter is far better than Cruz with far more pressure and pop. Brook in my mind looked better even though spence clearly outclassed Cruz.

Very talented power hitters often crumble to meeting themselves in the ring. Brook doesn't buckle. I suspect if Spence meets his equal he'll buckle to the pressure. Cruz took everything Spence gave him and IT WENT TO A DECISION.
I DONT see Brook being knocked out buy Spence. Also if it's close it will go to the Britt. That's boxing and a real dumb choice in opponents + going to To Brooks home town.

                  He has though

Porter was a big name until brook went over and beat him

Algeri has never been a name . Never won against a top opponent neither has spence

Its all on spence to prove he's as good as you fan boys make out

Gonna be a tough ask in front of a football ground full of home support

To much to soon for spence imo

Erroll 'The Hype' Spence is going to have the same type of experience that Gerald McClellann had against Nigel Benn. Coming over to the UK to pick up a easy title and paycheck, then quickly realizes he is in the fight of his life against a fighter he (and his camp) underestimated.
