Well, Oscar made the deal for Canelo to pummel Haymon fighter Chavez, JR. Conversely, the NBA playoffs may be a reason that we aren't seeing PBC fights right now. If we don't start seeing them after the NBA finals, then maybe they are hurting.

We don't even know what this TS is whining about.

Chavez vs Alvarez was made with Haymon's involvement. We even saw a thread by a poster saying he saw Haymon and Oscar haggling together with smiles on their faces.

This TS is making so many things up and too many assumptions. This site needs to separate facts from fiction.

I even suspect Chavez vs Alvarez fight was actually Haymon's idea. His footsteps were all over the place, the catchweight and all... Well, everyone made money, everyone was happy, except fans.

PBC burned almost Billion dollars already, they froze themselves out.

That's why Haymon is allowing his fighters on hbo and sending them to England now.

We need to expand the fan base, enough with this alphabet silliness etc., to try to get them to turn their TV over to Boxing!

              Ain't this the f#cking truth.

The sooner more guys involved in the sport realize this or some new entity comes in & just rekt's sh^t proving this theory the better off & more popular boxing will be be.

Linares vs Mikey is not even that big of a fight.

Mikey needs an opponent with a name to recover the money he lost due to his 2 year long inactivity. The Linares (GBP) fight won't cut it.

Do a catchweight with Broner or Swift as far as PBC is concerned.

Lol . . . you'd be shocked by some of the people that read & post here . . . Boxingscene is one of the main propaganda tools in the industry.

"Read the articles" . . . hahahaha which articles? The internet is flooded with false information. PBC's time buys are largely over. Lawyers fighting over whether PBC will be forced to do a couple more ESPN & NBC shows. We shall see. But FS1, Showtime, Bounce, CBS etc all have a license fee.

CBS isn't buying fights. LOL talk about not understanding the use of english grammar. Showtime bought ONE CARD and put it on CBS. And good for them. It was a big fight just didn't turn out to be a very good fight. Just okay.
It's been two cards on CBS so far that CBS chipped in money for. You're trying to argue semantics. CBS *owns* Showtime. It doesn't matter to Haymon whether CBS gives him the money or CBS gives the money to Showtime to then give to Haymon. Stop being silly.

FS1 has never paid for boxing. PBC sells commericals on there shows same as GBP on Estrella and ESPN and Top Rank on Unimas. Those are all time buys.
You're wrong. FS1 started paying for boxing on day one.

                  http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...nd-rights-deal

This is prime time and there are license fees attached to the shows. This is not a time buy, so there is a commitment to boxing on both sides.

So if you're lying about FS1 never paying for boxing, what else are you lying about?

i said that they don't pay pbc. send me the link that bounce and fs1 pay pbc. I will wait. And for CBS they are only showing an occasional big fight that showtime pays for. Your argument is weak. TNT etc pay for fights too since they are shown on HBO using your logic
