It's an amatuer style. That's not a criticism, it's a style used by amateurs all over the world since before the cold war ended. During the cold war eastern europeans could only box in the amateurs and since the cold war was so long when it ended that's all their trainers knew.

It is a very basic style, it's effective, but all these ****s calling it good boxing are just nuthuggers. It's basic boxing at it's finest, not high caliber boxing.
