    European Bum Style

Yesterday Kiko Martínez was robbed by a fighter who use this style and I am already tired of this ****.

European bum style consists in fighting in the back foot the whole fight, move like you are a master technician but you are **** and you are eating leather, and throw one or two flurries for round.

Why European Bum style? Because this style in particularly used in Europe by the home fighter when he knows, he can't win but he has reach advantage and he knows that if he survives, he win.

Yesterday Kiko dominated with the Jab, hit Warrington to the body many many many many times and besides, hit him with overhand rights. By the contrary Warrington, being the taller figther, didn't use the jab and only throwed flurries, more fireworks than real punches.

Most of the people, had Kiko's winning, but also there are people, who thinks than Warrington won in a close fight and their only argument is that Washington never was near to being Ko. They don't talk about that Kiko landed more and better.

Cedric Vitu, Josh Warrington,Edis Tatli are examples of users of this style, which has been used too by no European Figthers. Joseph Parler against Ruiz and Takam used this style in both fights.

Damn a lot of posters here have literally spent every day for a decade trying to convince us that Euro bum style was "flat footed come forward brawling" and that fighting defensively on the back foot is for slick chessmaster gurus. Now I don't know who to believe.

Is that really a style? Or just common sense for a fighter who is finding it difficult.

If he couldn't hit Martinez with single shots he was obligated to throw flurries in the hope that the 3rd or 4th might land.

I didn't watch the fight and Josh Warrington has done well in his career when I see him and he is traditionally a high-energy pressure fighter but he is fighting at the very top of his level regarding opponents now and he is a complete non-puncher. From what you just described it sounds like he actually 'adapted' to accommodate the stronger man. He tried to make lemonade it seems!

At the end of the day not everybody is a class fighter.

It is a style, it is avoid the fight and throw flurries to give something to the judges can give you the victory.

That's the Floyd Mayweather "Running Chicken Style".

Pitty-pat and run out the clock, the home judges will give you the decision.

Most who use it are NOT Europeans.
