The main fact being lost in all this was...
Even on his best day, Canelo beats his ass & does the same chit to him every time.

Chavez Jr's performance was embarrassing. Canelo was using him as a heavy bag. I think it was Team Chavez perpetrating a big scam. We all know GB wanted this fight because Canelo would be sure to win, but this was ridiculous.

There's another thing that Canelo's exemplary performance showed us. And that is just how great Floyd Mayweather was in the sport. We all know Canelo has matured and improved since then but Mayweather made beating Canelo look easy. The present Canelo is ready and should give us a great fight with Golovkin.

Well, Chavez sr did quit like a punk a couple times, against Frankie Randall and in his very last fight against some bum

but he was well past his prime when that happened so maybe he gets a pass

I don't think vada testing much to do with it. Some factors, that I think might've played a role include:

1- jr. Is not being good enough to compete against Canelo.
2- he absolutely ****** at the style he tried to use against Canelo
3- I think he wasn't at his best at that weight, but it wouldn't have made a significant difference
4- He shouldn't have tried to box Canelo and should have gone out making it a fight. At least he would've been part of an entertaining fight.
