Close fight but boring, the kind of fight where result could've gone either way, but unlike Kov/Ward both fighters were cautious so it wasn't entertaining. I'd pick Jacobs over any middleweight except for Golovkin (his chances are 50/50 against Gennady) he's a bad stylistic match up for everybody out here and I've became a fan after the fight

My score too... though through a kind of comedy of errors I was unable to score it live (being almost paralytically drunk and watching on a 4" phone). Listening to the Boxnation broadcast and reading some of the comments here and elsewhere I was thinking it was gonna be some kind of robbery. When I finally watched it properly after returning from an ill advised weekend with an old drinking buddy I was surprised at how straightforward I scored it for Golovkin... close, tough fight, sure, but I'd have to really stretch to give Jacobs 7 rounds.

If I am bias and hate GGG I can def see how Jacobs won 8 rounds but being a realistic fan of GGG and not a hater of Danny's. I saw a proper scorecard. it was the combo of jabs, the knockdown and the pressure that gives GGG this fight.

danny might want that revenge rematch if 3geezer loses to canelo. he would probably go after the titles though and then give the old feller a redo (if HE beats canelo/bjs).

i dont think the lust will be there for a canelo-3geezer 2 if canelo beats him.

i dont really see how anyone could score it for jacobs. i think people who say 'jacobs won' never actually scored it round be round, he had a few really good rounds but it doesnt tally up to a points win.

You should learn how football works then, you appear to know as little about that as you do boxing.

Jacobs did not win the 11th round, watch that round once again.

It was a fairly competitive fight but boring one. Golovkin won but it wasn't too exciting or interesting to watch.
