I wouldn't say he doesn't have the tools. Can he pull off? Probably not. I think people are still fixated on how Golovkin dominated lesser opponents. They were either too scared to engage or didn't have the skills or fire power to compete. I think people are underestimating the effect of the Jacobs fight. To me that was the cross road fight. The competition is only going to get tougher. I consider Lara one of the tougher tests. I'm not saying he can pull it off but at the same time you can't dismiss his chances either.

It's a tough stylist Mach up against a decent name. Thats why people wanted to see it. Doesn't mean ggg wouldn't win. It just means that he didn't want to challenge himself and give a bad performance. Which nobody really looks good against Lara.
