I just don't see the tools from Lara to beat GGG.

Seriously, Lara went life and death against the slowest fighter alive,and despite the snail paced speed Angulo kept on cutting of the ring to work on the body and to knock him down twice.



And then cement feet Canelo Alvarez despite his cement feet, still as able to have great success on the mid to late rounds.

I just don't see how Lara could beat GGG. Everything through physical strength, and style GGG would dominate him and finish him inside 8 rounds.

Of course Lara can't beat GGG. Canelo almost chased Lara out of the ring years ago when Canelo wasn't nearly as good as he is today. Lara would run even more against GGG. Lara is no threat to GGG at all. He has no tools to beat GGG with. He can't stay out of range and hit and run from long distance. GGG has too much reach and and a terrific left jab than no fighter can avoid. Lara doesn't have the punching power to hurt GGG. Crude, slow and not very good Angulo was able to drop Lara twice. GGG would hunt him down and knock him out.

Lara is a skilled fighter but he missed a career in marathon running He's irrelevant in a discussion concerning Golovkin. Lara would get obliterated by Golovkin that's if he could run him down. Once he did though one trip to the corner of the ring would end Lara's night.

I don't think he beats him but he would give him challenges. GG doesn't deal with lateral movement very well.
The reason people wanted to see Lara vs GGG was because, at the time, GG was fighting guys like Wade, welterweight Kell Brook, etc. If you think Lara is garbage, that should explain how bad GG's competition was that people were begging for him to fight Lara.

There's fights for Golovkin at 160 now, which is why no one is asking to see him fight Lara anymore.
