Just because he wanted to train one guy for his whole career doesn't mean he's not successful. He was a former fighter so it's not like some guy without fighting experience like Jack Loew.

That's like a coach leading an NBA team to three titles and he's not considered great because he only coached that one team.

and i disagree about the TEAM coach thing. coaching a team is much more difficult than an individual. especially if that individual is your child.

They are both pretty complete. Neither is a one-trick pony.

A lot of the people on this forum, a surprising number of which don't really watch boxing seem to depict him as a KO artist.

His jab stats are way more impressive than his fairly low number of true knockout punches.
